Some characters are different in the manga than in the anime. Kikyou is portrayed horribly in the anime, when she's not nearly as bad in the manga. Sesshoumaru is a saint in the anime when he's not really so in the manga.

Any other examples? Why do you think this is?

Kagome. She is a complete idiot and annoying in the anime.


IMO Kikyou and Kagome are completly ruined in the anime.

I think they get Inuyasha right.... when they stick to the original story. Filler episodes are a little ridiculous when it comes to him. Or is that just me?

yeah...randomly Inu forgets what is bothering him in fillers. Actually, only filler where anyone seemed in character was when Miroku kept failing to grope Sango.
