Wow, a great vampire book. A little depressing, but a very interesting take on the whole vampirism thing. Great Halloween read. _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!
It's actually a novella, it's pretty short. Definitely stand alone. The copy I have has a bunch of Matheson's short stories as well, because I Am Legend is only about half a novel in length. _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!

I'll see what I can do.... now that you describe it that way it seems like I could find the time to read it. But I still don't know for sure. I'll try it out and see how it works. _________________
I believe that there is a new movie of it. My husband (who is a vampire aficionado and has read everything vampire) said there was an old Charlton Heston movie version of I Am Legend that royally sucked. Hopefully, Will Smith can do better. _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!
I just saw I Am Legend. It had nothing to do with vampires. Only hypervenilating zombie people who can't go in the sun light. And also the person who the movie revolves around goes insane because he thinks he is the last person in the world that isn't infected with this virus thing and he starts talking to cardboard cutouts of people.I thought that was pretty funny. ;p _________________ ネヂ キソク, ワタクシ ワ モツテ イル イェン!!

Well he didn't go insane but he did have a few mental issues. Then again, who wouldn't after about three years of no human contact, and then some canine issues?
And to be clear(even though I know the joke behind the zombie thing, hyperventilating, lol) it was about people who had been infected by the virus thing, which was supposedly a cure for cancer, but ended up backtracking all civilized human behavior and making them aggressive carnivores.
Fairly good movie, but from what has been said, it doesn't seem to match the book very well.
...As for the cardboard cutouts, it was absolutely hilarious when he shot Fred. XD _________________ Whoever said all good things in life are free, never visited a gourmet chocolate store.
