Well...my inside teh jewel theory was correct...despite how much annoying blind refusals I got from some people who ignore all foreshadowing and hints via double-meanings in phrases (something you MUST look for in fiction) and refuse to even aknowledge anyone else's theory, and got no freaking appology for all the shit remarks.
So...
will my next theory be correct?
this latest chapter seems to have huge emphasis on Inuyasha believeing he failed Kikyou twice and then killed Kagome. So...I'm predicting Inu will at least attempt (doesn't mean kagome will go with it) to not end up with Kagome just to protect her like he promissed. That way....actually he keeps 2 promisses. He stays with Kikyou (full circle...something RT seems to loves to do right now) and he protects Kagome. _________________

In any case, if he ends up with anyone outright in the series, it will be Kagome; this much we can be sure of. However, since the endings to these sorts of stories seem to be ambiguous, we'll be lucky to even get that much.
In conclusion, we'll probably have to make our own conclusions, and if that's the way you want it to end, there's really no one to say it's not right.
Fortunately, I'm all for him being with both (Kagome while he's alive, Kikyou when he dies). Who says you can only have ONE love of your life, hm? _________________

Well, both Kikyou and Kagome would just need to grow up a little, then won't they? As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing wrong with the way Inuyasha feels about Kagome, or felt about Kikyou. And it's never as simple as "it's her or me". That's what I really hate about Kagome; the jealousy thing. She has to feel special, but Kagome really needs to realize the fact that Inuyasha is never going to get over Kikyou before she can handle a relationship, in my opinion.
But it's just my opinion.
Of course, there's also the fact that Kagome is still not sure, even after all this time, that Inuyasha can tell the difference between her and Kikyou. I believe he can distinctly do so, but she's still pretty insecure about it. Again, a problem that she needs to handle, otherwise, she's incapable of BEING with Inuyasha. _________________
I think that kagome should become imortal so she can be with inu or kikyou should stop being so.....strange. I'm sorry that I think she is strange, and it's not that she is evil like some people think, but I think she is a little creepy and I don't understand WHY inu would like kikyou. That actually brings up a splendid point about why Inuyasha should NOT be with Kikyou, VRap.... People tend to have relationships with others who are at or around their own intelligence level. Kikyou, in my opinion only, mind you, is MUCH smarter than Inuyasha. Of course, Kagome is also a bit smarter than Inuyasha, but not on the level Kikyou is.
In intelligence level, it's Kikyou, then Kagome, then Inuyasha. See? There's a whole PERSON standard seperating the two of them. _________________
