I personally like OCs. I think original characters added to a story are really interesting. As long as they aren't the main focus of the story (there are some exceptions), aren't some long-lost sibling or lover of a canon character, or fall in love with a canon character.
So without further ado...
Post yer original characters here!!! I'll start!
인민군 원수 이명일 (InminGun Whunsu Lee Myeong-il)
"I love you so much, Suu..." -Myeong-il to her younger brother, Su-Hwa
A Korean half breed born from a forbidden love of a human and a genetically modified human, her bloodline comes from a LONG line of Korean shamans (mudang) kept secret and alive thru her village's isolation from the rest of the world. She was considered posessed by two spirits at birth (which pretty much turned out to be true XD) and immediately instated a shaman by the village elders. As such, she was tought to believe in the five main elements: fire, water, wind, earth, and...metal. XD She took the wind especially well. Some fifteen years later, a mysterious incident happened to her and she ran away...
Her career is a Field Marshal of the communist North Korean People's Army, which she has dramatically reformed into a peacekeeping force and instated a manditory conscription service. Because of her full-time job as an political officer, she has lost all contact with her village and barely remembers them now...the only reminder her younger brother, a Private in the Army.
Lee normally wears a gabardine officer's field uniform from the Korean War itself to set herself apart from her other lazy fat4$$ rich cats. Unlike other officers, she requested an "old look no frills attached". What she got was quite literally an old relic. -_-;; So, to spice it up a bit, she added a button to the side of her cap and sable bells to her wrists. When out of uniform (WTF?! Impossible!), she wears a white hanbok dating back to the Goguryeo Kingdom of Korea.
She is currently thirty years old but has kept her youthful 20 looks.
인민군 전사 이수화 (InminGun Jeonsa Lee Su-Hwa)
"Ever think we'll go back to the Beginning...just this once?" -Su-Hwa to his 2nd eldest sister, Myeong-il.
A Korean human born from...well, look above, he is the youngest and only male of the three Lee siblings (nam-meh). Unlike his two sisters, he is usually upbeat and cheery, preferring to look on the positive side of things, including his enemies. This has usually lead to dramatic arguements with his middle sister, always leading to both of them "walk out hating each other". But you know siblings...
As a Private in the People's Army, he normally trains a lot and gets a LOT of loudmouthing from other officers for being an incompentent and too kind-hearted. In reality, they're just jealous because he's Myeong-il's brother. The two siblings love each other so much, that even Myeong-il's best officers question the two whenever they are alone. Unfortunately, this leads to Myeong-il becoming defensive like a shotgun happy Sarge and Su-Hwa trying to keep her from exploding the entire world. As a pacificist, he doesn't get angry...much. Whenever he DOES lose his temper, it is always dangerous and basically a threat to the peace of the entire world. His blood red eyes symbolize this incredible power, dubbed "Zero Type psychokinesis" by the UN. Just how he gained this incredible power he prefers to keep it a secret, the only answer a smug glance to his sister...
Su-Hwa wears the service browns of the Army lazily, not caring to keep it pristine. Results? His sister chiding him for "dirtying the name of our People's Army". "Oh?" he retorts, "Last time I remember, you dragged me away from family to "bolster rank" nunah." Thus, a XBOX HEUG fight ensures. Siblings...
Born just 2 years apart from his middle sister, he is of 28 years but looks as young as her. _________________

I have always wanted to put someone in Naruto who had sepa, you know, as an interesting little side-character, but I think that's about as far as I've gone in creating original characters.
