Elfin Leid. I have never cried so much while reading a manga. This thing is just heartbreaking. the whole thing with Nana, Mariko, and their parents is just too sad. Please, it's on OneManga.com. I've read about 70 chapters already. It's just so sad.

lol yeah anyway...it IS one of the better manga series our there.

But if you REALLY want extreme hardcore with being "Rated M", read Black God (Hook Shin) by Ihm Dal-Young and Park Sung-Woo. The story gets extremely heartwarming in the later volumes and the artwork is simply beyond FUCKING AMAZING.

At first, I didn't like the story since it seemed rather slow and a little too complicated, but I understand it now. Black God really is a sweet story that, unlike most Japanese manga, puts NORMAL people in horrendous situations and leaves them with only a few clues and INCREDIBLE dumb luck to make the heros prevail.

Seriously. Go read Black God. It is fucking occult and heartwarming at the same time.

The only problem I had was the way Park draws his characters. They look all (nearly) alike. LOL!

yeah, a lot of people have problems with making their characters too much alike and making them look almost the same.
