admittadly by RT said that she was only originally meant for backstory only....yet she became a huge importance and still has a 50/50 chance of getting Inu even though being dead again. Is this proof that RT just makes stuff up as she goes along and really has no idea where things are going next?

Yes. I've told you this before. Sesshoumaru was also meant to be the main villain of the story, but that didn't happen either.

She made stuff up as she went along. How else? Sesshoumaru as the main villain would have meant no Rin, so I don't know if I'd be totally down with that....

I'd rather have no Rin than having the annoying kukuku naraku does every 3 seconds. He's just such a dry villian. No personality. Sesshy at least has motivation outside of world destruction to go after Inu.

Though....Naraku still had to be explained for Kikyou and stuff so I guess they were meant to kill him off early? Seems odd for all that backround info to have him be just to be a small step. I guess I see RT's logic in keeping Naraku around at least.

But still...Sesshy would be a better villian.

Maybe... It just seems that all your villains nowadays have to be dry and have a flat personality, otherwise you'd be prone to identify with them. And who wants to identify with a villain? I don't much like Naraku's one-dimensionality either, but I do love to hate him and wish that he'd die..

Or get a job. Either one would be acceptable.

But there are villians that you can identify with who you still want to die. Kuja, Yggdrassill, Liquid Snake, Solidus, Big Boss, OK...everyone from the MGS series and a few RPG villians.

Then there are villians who just suck so badly it's liek "geez...just end him now. He got boring 300 chapters ago. He should be dead and have a new villian now."
