9 users at once?How did that occur? Right now not even me and you Lys can get on at the same time. We did the topsites, advertizing at Tandokucon's website.....anyone have any ideas that don't involve paying for adds?

I'm out of ideas, VRap, and frankly, I don't know if I care anymore. Honestly, it's like I keep telling you guys: we need POSTS. Advertising will only get you so far, and we don't have posters who are willing to start interesting discussion every day, let alone continue the discussions through to the end.
Forgive me, but in all honesty, this place is just making me feel more and more like a failure, and I would rather not feel that way. Playing with the layout and junk is fun, but without people who appreciate it, it's a little depressing to see all my hard work go to waste.
If anyone else has any more ideas, I'll listen, but I'm certainly not paying for ads, and I'm not going to continue this for much longer if we don't get any regular new posters. Begging forgiveness, if no one else cares about all this (including all the radio dramas Erin has been working so hard to translate) I'll probably be closing for the third and final time.
I have one hope left: We go back to all the places we've advertised and tell them that we are getting translations to the radio dramas and drama CDs, and we also have them up to listen to. Basically, we'll be saying we have the one thing others DON'T, and hopefully that will attract some new people. If not, well, it's been fun guys.
Actually, it hasn't been fun.... it's been a living hell, but I keep hoping it will GET fun....

oh man....sorry. I didn't know that all this was hell for you. Seems to be a lot of that going around these sites latly.
hmm....well I guess instead of just one topic per chapter we could pull a little trick. The name and preview, the script, and then the scans. We get 3 topics per chapter. that's a start.
PS: what really isn't all that fun for you? We havn't had any arguements or anything here. I figured the worst it would be would be boring.

It's the hell from months ago coming back again and again to haunt me. It's not recent, but it does tend to crop up in my mind fairly often, and there's no denying that I'm just not cut out for this kind of thing.
I'd imagine there's much more activity over at CJ's board; I suggest everyone go over there and let this place die.

1) I made a joke about her using Microsoft paint (which sucks compared to adobe and qwark stuff)
2) asked what the houses were about since they seemed to have no importance outside keeping with the theme.
3) said some things about religion that made her upset. She is REALLY Christian (didn't realize it). She compared me to this old anti-american Korean propoganda user we once had.
4) Kinda asked her to appologize to you.

And why would you ask her to apologize to me? Are you a masochist? Seriously, bad move on your part. I wouldn't have accepted anyhow, just like she wouldn't have accepted any apology I gave... IF I had anything to apologize about.
Whatever, it hardly matters. Luckily, you don't have to worry about that with me. It's pretty easy to hurt my feelings about the board (given that I often hurt my OWN feelings about that) but not so hard to hurt my feelings about anything else.

Someone made a comment about why Christians are stereotyped as being bigots. I gave an answer about the Magdelene laundrymats that finally shut down in the 1990's. They would take pregnant women who conceived out of wedlock (even rape victims) and forced them to work in these places for usually their whole life and had their children taken from them. they even took women not pregnant who they feared would get pregnant because they were too pretty (guilty by default?). I called it sexist.

Wow, that's interesting. Never heard about that before. No one has ever feared I would get pregnant, and I'm supposed to be fairly pretty (according to everyone else). I've also never grown up with zealous Christians, so I'm not sure whether I can imagine what that was like or not....
You still didn't tell me about the "houses" and I'm intrigued now.

Oh the members on the site are grouped into the 4 different houses of the Harry Potter books. Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Griffendor

It's half Inuyasha, half Harry Potter. The Sacred Flats it's called. Currently teh banner are the characters dressed as the others. As in Ron is Sesshy, Inu is Harry, so on and so forth.

Seriously guys, why all this talk about "enemies"? Vrap, Lys and CJ are NOT going to be friends again, they've both pretty much made that clear. Stop talking about this stuff! It doesn't help anyone, if anything, it creates enmity! Lys doesn't want to be known as the "we hate CJ site". That's not who she is. Lys, you've done a great job, as good a job as anyone can do. Do NOT feel like a failure because of a forum. There are more important things in life. Just have fun and don't get caught up in all the other stuff.
And Lys, the whole Houses thing is because Harry Potter topics were so rampant, that CJ decided the forum should be about both Harry Potter and Inuyasha. It was a way to escape our favorite troll who thinks they are the GOD of Inuyasha and how dare anyone else try to make a forum about Inuyasha. You know what I mean. By bringing in more HP fans as well as IY fans...it escapes the whole baka competition thing with you-know-who.
Vrap, you even upset me in one of my threads by jumping to conclusions and saying things without reading my whole post. But I was able to get over it without even bothering you with it. I just think it's better to keep drama in PM's so that it doesn't upset other people reading it.

Hun, take the word "failure" out of your vocabulary. Seriously. Don't ever let that word be associated with yourself. It's all in your mind, if you think positive and think success...then you have it.
