Basic RulesOkay.... This is the third time I've done this. Hopefully I never have to do it again. The general rules of these forums are as follows; if you are uncomfortable with any of them, you need not hold your tongue, speak up below and tell me why you aren't happy with the rule, and I'll do my best to revise them.
1. Disrespect of ANY MEMBER is prohibited. That includes newer members who are being abused. Remember, just because you've been here a long time does not give you the right to be a jerk. Likewise, any abuse by a newer member to an older one is just as bad. Punishment varies according to the severity of the offense, and how many offenses have been committed. Disrespect includes racial slurs, sexual harrassment, and language intended to make another feel bad about his or her self.
2. Curse words and cursing is allowed if the curse is not directed at another member. If the word/s used are used in description of an event, it is not considered terrible.
3. Double posting to correct a grammatical or spelling error is a minor offense. There is an edit button for a reason. However, double posting to carry a different train of thought from the first post is completely acceptable.
4. If you post a work that is not your own in any fanart, fanfiction sections, you must give credit to the one who actually did the work. Plagiarism is NOT acceptable, and anyone found plagiarizing someone else's work will be banned permenently and immediately.
5. Pornographic material is prohibited. Believe it or not, it is a self-propelling industry and it needn't be advertised here.

Please note that there is also a size limit on signature banners: they can only be 500 x 170 pixels altogether. If you have ONE banner that is as big as that, you must leave anything else you may want to put in your signature out. This is to ensure that banners do not detract from the words above them and distract the readers.
