Dumbledore is gay?yeah...the Harry Potter writer said that Dumbledore is gay when she was asked if there was ever a Mrs Dumbledore.

LOL! I was wondering when this topic was going to crop up.
As for what I think of it, it makes sense to me, but it doesn't change a THING about Dumbledore's character as I know it.
It DOES explain the Potter Puppet Pals and Dumbledore's obsession with being naked in those....

You know...those sort of things should be developed more in teh books. Cho sort of makes sense when you think about it but she looked like a real bitch if you take that out of the equation. As for Dumbledore....no difference at all. His preference really has no implications on the plot at all. It is a useless trivia question.

I don't agree that with that out of the equation, Cho looks like a bitch. I think she looks like a bitch even with that IN the equation. She's too covert and dishonest. I just don't like that much at all.

Anyways, I can't wait to see what FOX NEWS has to say about this one since they called the Nobel Peace Prize a terrorist prize with no worth after Gore won it. Really? So MLK Jr and Mother Therisa were terrorists?

In all seriousness, I haven't heard anything more about Dumbledore being gay. I thought someone might be throwing a fit about it, but it seems no one really cares on this end of the country.

That and I like Cho not because she's asain. I find her more interesting of a character than Ginny. Same with Kikyou compared to Kagome.

I'm a little reluctant to believe that, since it seems to be the case with most men that are into anime I have met..... Ah well, who cares if the chicken or the egg came first.
I don't see what's so interesting about Cho. She makes herself out to be a riddle, but she's just dangling yarn.
What can I say, I have a thing about people who don't say what they mean.

The thing about Dumbledore is that the sexuality of that archetype does not matter. It does nothing to advance the story. Was Merlin gay/straight/bi? How about Gandalf? Chiron? Obi-wan Kenobi? Yoda? It doesn't matter, because the "sensei" archetype is beyond sexuality.
