Yeah that's true, but you have to consider it's a movie and there's not much time for development.

yeah but it would have been better had Kikyou not even been in the movie. She just takes a cup...gives it away then saves Inu out of nowhere and walks off like nothing is her fault.

Isn't that what they always do to her in the anime? Why should their obviously bad opinion of her character change in a movie?
My personal favorite is #3. It just seemed prettier than the others. Of course, even that one has its problems; for instance, another sword for Inuyasha and Sesshoumaru to fight over = stupid plot device. And the fact that the writers for the show mixed up Tenseiga and Toukijin just bugged me.
Otherwise, it was really pretty. It pretty much the only reason I bother to watch the movies anyhow.

but at least in the 1st movie kikyou had a point. every character had some sort of conversation with someone else that developed something.

Sorry, Movie 2 was my favorite. I had read the fairy tale about Kaguya-hime, and seeing it re-told like that was great. Also, the KISS. That was awesome for me, it made me feel like a teenager in love again.

No...miroku looking at Sango while she's trapped was teh best part> Oh the look on both their faces were priceless.

I heard that Takahashi was really opposed to that kiss. Not that anyone should really care, but I just thought it was an interesting piece of gossip.
I don't know about the movies at all, though. They're pretty and all, but they all touch on plot points we've all seen before in the anime itself. They should have just taken an hour's worth of episodes and put them together, calling it a movie, for all that's worth.

yeah...I use that little bit of information to tick some people off. Kikyou had a kiss but RT hates the one in movie 2 that other people put in.

You would... Silly, silly person. But that's okay, considering you're often talking to me, who really doesn't have a preference when it comes to relationships between characters. I just go with whatever I see happening.
On the other hand, I hate Sess/Rin. I hate Sess/anybody, for that matter. I want him to die old and alone. That's his punishment for being a stuck-up prick.
Anyway... the movies, right? I was watching them again on Veoh, and I discovered that movie three is NOT the prettiest, but movie TWO! I've changed favorites now.

And *insert teh explosions of Korean drawn animination prettiness heres*
And that is how Japan's UBER-l33t animation industry was bornz. luls
But Korea has DJMAX, THE BEST NEXT THING TO SLICED BREAD!!! Daehan Minguk!!! XD
LULULULULS!!! 0.o
For the luls!
Oh right. XD I honestly dunno what movie was my favored one. But Rumiko wasn't involved in the movies at all. Nor the anime. How's that for irony.
But then again...most manga-kas aren't into supporting an anime about their own series. Seeing as "liberties" can be taken into account. =/
lolwut?
