I'm not entirely sure.... I'm probably going to say yes, given how much she has spent on this previous battle, and that's not even going to be half the scale of this final one.

and you have to give room for a few issues of wrap-up after Naraku bites it.

And Don't expect this to be the final battle. Naraku will escape, fight jewel guy, get yet another new form and then we have the final final battle.

I don't know. It could be the other way around. Inuyasha and gang take out Naraku and then have to fight Magatsuhi. Or, by some stroke of luck, they could take them both out at once.

We also might not even have wrap-up. How do you know it won't just end mid-sentence like The Sopranos? Japanese fans show from their reaction to chapter 518 that anything Takahashi does can be put in the "genius" category, even if, literature wise, it sucks royally.

Amen to that. It'll probably be a cop-out ending, where the wrap-ups can go whatever way that each fan wants them to go...a trail off with just enough hints to go any possible direction.

518? What was the reaction for 518? Was that where we get you know who's arm back?

and if she does a cop-out ending....have kagome make apure wish on teh jewel and end it with Inuyasha asking what she wished for.

PS: Soprano's sucked after 1st season. Same with lost.

The reaction to 518 in Japan was in stark contrast with that here. Most American fans were outraged. Most Japanese fans were pleased. I can't for the life of me imagine why.
