As I'm sure you've noticed, I went on a discovery path with Paint Shop Pro and did a new banner with all the nifty tools in the program. If you can detect the border of the original file, I'm sorry about that. You see, this gray body background is essentially a mistake in the system that I can't fix, which was generally a good thing until I wanted that exact color to blend the new banner. Since I couldn't have it, I tried to get as close to the color as humanly possible.

I decided that it wasn't worth putting up a new thread for stealing random ideas, so I'll take this opportunity to draw your attention to the main page, where you have probably already seen the news ticker! It was difficult to install, seeing as how it's not an included component in the package, but I think the effort I've made makes it look pretty to me.
Yes, I did steal the idea from CJ's board, but since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I only hope she's not mad enough to drive me into hiding for the rest of my life.
What can I say? When I first came onto that board, the first thing I saw was the news ticker, which struck me as incredibly neat. I immediately regretted not having one too, because let's face it, this place is too fun to play with to let go.

I have againo dos demonstrated my lack of anything better to do! Another new banner; this one, I am positive is MUCH better than the last two. I liked the themes I used in it, and the lack of color. Only one question: should I change the rest of the colors on the board as well? I don't think it clashes too terribly, but on the other hand....

It's also easier to navigate thru the site without having to scroll sideways all the freaking time every which post.
I personally like the grayscale banner. Simple and to the point.
Besides, they never had colour cameras back in the 1500s too. lol

Was I getting paranoid over it? I was simply asking if I should change the colors.
But I agree with you guys, I really like this new grey banner, and it goes well with the background colors.
