Do you think the manga should have ended already? If so, when do you think it should have done so?
I definitely think it should have been done by now, and it could have been ended satisfactorily way before Kikyou died again. I think specifically right after Sesshoumaru acquired Meidou Zangetsuha. If he had used the sword to work together with his brother and that had made the Meidou grow, then we could have closed off the series much sooner.
Or do you think that's too corney?

I don't know. I just want a happy ending with Inu/Kag together and Naraku defeated. Yeah, I'm cliche.

Well, whatever makes you happy, I suppose. I just think it might have made a little bit of a difference if it were ended earlier.

Had it ended earlier, I think that this whole Sesshoumaru/Meidou/New Tenseiga/what did pappy really want thing would not have played out. I think that weapon upgrades in general is getting old. So far....I would like it to take as long as it needs to to fully develop each plot and subplot....which could take awhile I guess.

it should have ended either when Kikyou took Naraku into the next world with her or when the super arrow shot him, except Kagome succeeds at healing Kikyou in some cliche "she's now perfectly human again" ending.
But now....now they better end it whenever Kikyou does whatever to the jewel, pure wish or whatever. If he somehow lives through Kikyou's trap....then it's definatly gone on too long.
