Weather Report

How's the weather over there?

Denver Colorado: Rainy, which makes me squeal with delight. I absolutely love playing in the rain, and all throughout the afternoon, I was romping around the playground across the street from my house. The best part is, no one else is out there in the rain, so they don't look at you like you're crazy because you're nineteen years old and climbing on the plastic equipment.

Middletown, Delaware

Hot as hell. nuff said.
SesshyFan-Girl

Pennsylvania: Hoooooooooot. Shocked

Well then take a trip to Hershey Park. They have their own waterpark section now. You are in the same state as it.

I'm going there later this week actually.
SesshyFan-Girl

I've been to Hershey Park. Yup, its in Pennsylvania.
Yin-Yang Heart

Florida: Hot and sunny.
Lyssandra

Denver: Sunny, but not too hot. Must have been the rain last night.
jadehorse77

This week is triple digits baby. Yep, and no rain in sight. The Carolinas need some relief soon....my poor horses are having a rough time of it. I wish they'd just go swim in the pond, but they're too dainty for that. Rolling Eyes
Lyssandra

Hot enough for me to feel it here, but not quite as hot as jadehorse's triple-digits... perhaps 99....
watu1p

California: Hot but it's bearable due to that nice ocean breeze. Especially since today we went kayaking in the bay today. I tipped my sister's kayak over. Highlight of the day.
jadehorse77

Sheese-louise, today the heat index is 107! Sucktastic!
Danny

In Manchester were i live which is in the UK its pouring it down with rain which is usual Laughing Sad But this morning it was quite bright and hot
Lyssandra

Chilly in Gunnison as usual, but it hasn't snowed yet. I kind of wish it would, because it's actually warmer when there are clouds overhead creating a greenhouse effect rather than a clear sky.
VRaptorX

blistering hot here in delaware. Global warming ftw!
SesshyFan-Girl

It's sunny yet cold right now in Pennsylvania.
jadehorse77

Finally!!!! Our first day in October that has had a high less than 89 degrees!! Earlier in the week we had a day that was 2 degrees higher than the record...93 degrees. In OCTOBER. Rolling Eyes
Lyssandra

Bwahahahahahahaaaa! Gunnison makes your town look like the very definition of Hell.

Of course, that depends, because we can have a wide variety of weathers and temperatures in one day. It can go from light showers at about seventy degrees to below zero snow showers. I guess I really shouldn't be talking.
SesshyFan-Girl

It's 55 degrees right now according to weather channel.
Lyssandra

Today was cold and drizzly. We had snow on the pass out of the valley too, so that was fun for my parents to drive out of.
jadehorse77

This weekend was absolutely beautiful. 50's-60's in the morning, and 70's in the afternoon. I worked on repairing the fence in my horse pasture and played with my grandparent's new puppy, and gave my horses a bath and some treats. It was a gorgeous weekend!!!

Now I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed that it will stay cool and actually RAIN here. The ground is crunchy from being so dry.
Lyssandra

In Colorado, the ground is always crunchy.

Speaking of which, it was surprisingly warm today, considering just yesterday was the first snow of the season.
jadehorse77

Finally, some cold air hit the South!! It's actually been below freezing at night, which is much earlier this year than last year. Last year I didn't even wear a coat before New Year's.
VRaptorX

finally feeling like Fall over here too.
jadehorse77

I guess the drought around here put the fall a little later. It seems like the peak weeks for leaf color have been behind. I went to the mountains two weekends ago and it was only about 50% red/orange and 50% still green.
Lyssandra

We haven't gotten any snow since the beginning of October, so we're all a little irritated over here. The kids here in Gunnison want to do their skiing and snowboarding, but they have to make do with the fake snow that Crested Butte is making, which is simply not the real thing, lol!
jadehorse77

HA HA HA!!!! Snow??!!?!?!?! We're lucky if we get one day of three inches that actually sticks. Then the whole universe shuts down and no one goes to work or school, and everyone buys all the bread and milk like we're going to be snowed in for weeks. Razz
VRaptorX

I want to tobagan.....and take down the idiots walking up the center of the hill where everyone is going down. They deserve to be hit. Mwhahahahaha!
SesshyFan-Girl

it's cold although not REALLY cold.

Last year I missed 3 days and 2 half-days of school because of snow. I was so happy! Wink

Wow. Forgive me for saying but.... you guys are wimps. It takes about four FEET for people in Colorado to reluctantly close the roads.... Nevermind. You guys aren't wimps. We're just crazy.

Oh, you'd get along with all of us here in CO. We are brutal when it comes to our slopes and hills. Basically, it's a person's own damn fault if they get hit by a skier or snowboarder.

Last year at around Christmas/Yule time we had it pretty crazy over here in the snow department. I just wish we would get some sort of precipitation now... it's so DRY up here. I'm even getting a nosebleed a night down here in the valley, and I NEVER got nosebleeds last winter.
jadehorse77

Keh, I'm married to a Yankee...I know all about getting picked on for getting out of school with a half inch of snow. Wink
Lyssandra

Clear skies again today. Sometimes that just means it's colder....
SesshyFan-Girl

cool temperatures; dry and also clear skies.
VRaptorX

actually pretty warm again though we did have huge ammounts of rain yesterday
Lyssandra

FINALLY.

It's actually a little warm this morning, and do you know why? Greenhouse effect! Thank you cloud-cover!
Lyssandra

We just got DUMPED on. Seriously. Take a look at this piece of work:

This one too:

It's supposed to be going on until the middle of this upcoming week, but we really don't know what to expect. Me? I'm just glad there's finally some moisture in the area.
