A few chapters ago we finally figured out why Naraku does what he does. He purposly tries to pull couples apart (Inu and Kikyou, Sango and Miroku) because....he is lonely. he wants a girlfriend basically and if he can't have one than noone should be happy.
What do you think about this whole reasoning?
PS: since kagome is the one that said it I hope she decides that Inu and Kikyou deserve to have what was taken away from them.

Sorta like Qin's Dynasty's first (and most insane) Emperor, Ying Zheng (Qin Shi Huang). He was lonely too.
It's too bad his fear of death drove him insane.

Not so much a girlfriend I don't think, but a friend. Someone who cares about him. He sees all these people caring about each other in different ways (look at Sango and Kohaku, for instance) and he wishes he had even a quarter of that instead of always being alone.
I mean, even his incarnations don't like him in the slightest, and given his human heart, it's no wonder that it would mess him up.
