yeah...and she also sabotaged teh shikon no tama and might actually have put herself inside of it (she never did re-enter into Kagome after death.) So not only did she pass the torch but she also is continuing to do stuff.
And Kagome making her the center of attention....is a bit wrong. IMO it should be emo Inu, not emo Kagome. But of course...Kaou absorbed his pain. Stupid cop-out. _________________
This whole Magatsuhi thing though, makes me think RT is finally getting serious with it. I mean, Naraku has been THE villian so far, and Magatsuhi seems to be greater than him. If he gets killed off quickly, then RT just screwed up royally. But I trust her more than that, I'm sure she's gonna give us something really good. I'm thinking that this might lead to an Onigumo shatter...as in, Onigumo may begin to start separating from Naraku. 'Cause remember, Naraku is the spider. It could end up being that Magatsuhi is what it takes for the two to become individuals again.
That's my tentative theory anyways.
If it is an Onigumo thing...it could possibly be a redemption. _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!
I sincerelt hope that Kikyo does not come back. She was given a beautiful death scene so she should just stay dead. Then Kagome can finally get IY. As for Magatsuhi... his name can be translated to bastard, depending on the context. I think that just says it all.

But, it's not like he'll get to use it without Naraku being a direct threat anymore. Sesshoumaru doesn't really have that much of a reason to go after Naraku in the first place.... _________________
Well...look at it this way for those who don't want Kikyou back.... we could always just have her be a ghost-ish form at the very end just telling Inu that she'll wait for him on the other side. Or she could become the guardian of the jewel again....or become the jewel's conscience or whatever. there are many options that don't involve revival. _________________

Becoming guardian of the jewel almost seems like she'd have the same fate as Midoriko, though, and something tells me that would be a less than restful afterlife. _________________
I hate using the "she had a good death" thing because Inuyasha basically forgot about her thanks to Kaou. Only Kagome is really thinking of her. She had a good death but then was basically thrown away. RT gave her so much plot importance with her jewel trap and possibly being inside the jewel but then she goes and does that. It's like she's trying to make her both important and not important at the same time. _________________

Really though, how do we KNOW he's forgotten about her? We haven't really had a look at his thoughts lately (except when it comes to Sesshoumaru), and we don't know how he's feeling about Kikyou at this point. Maybe he's just got some other things on his mind right now.
