Finally, some cold air hit the South!! It's actually been below freezing at night, which is much earlier this year than last year. Last year I didn't even wear a coat before New Year's. _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!
I guess the drought around here put the fall a little later. It seems like the peak weeks for leaf color have been behind. I went to the mountains two weekends ago and it was only about 50% red/orange and 50% still green. _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!

We haven't gotten any snow since the beginning of October, so we're all a little irritated over here. The kids here in Gunnison want to do their skiing and snowboarding, but they have to make do with the fake snow that Crested Butte is making, which is simply not the real thing, lol! _________________
HA HA HA!!!! Snow??!!?!?!?! We're lucky if we get one day of three inches that actually sticks. Then the whole universe shuts down and no one goes to work or school, and everyone buys all the bread and milk like we're going to be snowed in for weeks. _________________ It's just four more miles. I want to tobagan.....and take down the idiots walking up the center of the hill where everyone is going down. They deserve to be hit. Mwhahahahaha! _________________

Wow. Forgive me for saying but.... you guys are wimps. It takes about four FEET for people in Colorado to reluctantly close the roads.... Nevermind. You guys aren't wimps. We're just crazy.

Oh, you'd get along with all of us here in CO. We are brutal when it comes to our slopes and hills. Basically, it's a person's own damn fault if they get hit by a skier or snowboarder.

it's cold although not REALLY cold.
Last year I missed 3 days and 2 half-days of school because of snow. I was so happy!
Last year at around Christmas/Yule time we had it pretty crazy over here in the snow department. I just wish we would get some sort of precipitation now... it's so DRY up here. I'm even getting a nosebleed a night down here in the valley, and I NEVER got nosebleeds last winter. _________________
