eh? why would your four wish thing be voided now? I don't see anything contradicting it. Just because Naraku makes a wish doesn't mean they can't all as well. _________________
though I still really don't like the idea that they may just end Kikyou's trap, thus making her 100% useless. I'd much rather have the trap at least help the final blow to Naraku, but it looks like it's just going away so there is no importance to kikyou left. _________________

What I'm not sure about is what still ties Magatsuhi to the jewel. I mean, he used Naraku and his multiplicity skills to pop out of there, but why is he still THERE? Without him, the jewel is only purity, and it's of no use to other demons, so if I were Magatsuhi, I'd be high-tailing it out of there. That would mean I could do whatever I wanted, go wherever I wanted and not be obligated to grant anyone anymore dumb wishes to become stronger.
Makes no sense to me.
Of course, there must be SOMETHING still holding him to that jewel, making it rather impossible to just leave, otherwise there wouldn't be a POINT of purity still left to the jewel.
And if that point only works on Naraku, why doesn't Magatsuhi just taint the whole jewel like he did Kohaku's shard? Why go through all this complicated "get the last shard to taint the rest" when you can just as easily do it yourself? _________________
