Sorry, I disagree, but that's cool. I just don't see how she could have ascended and left herself behind at the same time. Maybe in a split sense, but still, I think everything was happening from the other side....she left her will in Kohaku and changed everything "from a distance", by exerting her will from the other side. That's just the way that makes sense to me.

I don't think Kohaku is posessed.

And not being able to save Kohaku? Who had more reason to save him? Kikyou did. It was something she struggled with when she was traveling with him. She knew that the shard would have to be taken in order for the jewel to be completed. She struggled with what she should do about Kohaku, because I believe she truly did care for him while they were traveling together. It was a choice she made, expressing her trust in Kagome and Inuyasha to take care of Naraku.

But time and time again this manga has shown that miko's cant change the spell after dying. So part of Kikyou had to be in that ligt to change it.

And having a person who is dead revive the person you just failed to protect IMO would be a bigger blow to Kagome's feelings than just having the light help her out.

IMO this was just a cheap way to get Naraku to become ultimate Naraku and get the light out of the jewel.

I wouldn't be shocked if Kohaku died again for good later in the manga, thus making it completly useless.

Also...doesn't this mean Kohaku is now a zombie again or is he full human? If full human than that means Kikyou could have made herself full human whenever she wants. Stupid.

Kohaku is full human because he is full flesh and blood. Kikyou was burned to ashes, and then made a body of earth and herbs and whatever else Urasue put into her again.

Besides what jade said, I'm not sure how many times I've tried to communicate this, but I'll do so again.... Kikyou did not WANT to live. That's the fact that you cannot ignore, VRap. She was unhappy living again, and the only reason she continued to walk around after Urasue revived her and did not just go back into Kagome is because she wanted a little revenge. Why would she revive herself if she wasn't interested in living anymore?

Who really says that she had the desire for that anymore? After all, her entire existence after she was brought back was about hatred. Her love for Inuyasha wasn't much compared to the misery she felt when she was in her clay body. I doubt the idea would ever have occurred to her.
