I don't like it any more than you do, Kim. Personally, I want to hear the TRUTH from my politicians, but they never want to give it to me. I want to sit down, have a discussion with these people and try to understand their ideas instead of voting for someone who most closely resembles my ideas, but I have to vote for the "lesser of evils". Finally, I want to tell my politicians that no matter what the right-wing fundamentalists say, they don't have to be perfect. They don't have to be more than human to run for office, but they do have to understand they are making a decision for millions upon millions, and their responsibility and maturity is key in running in office.
No more of this mudslinging shit, no more saying this person did that.... We, as their bosses, should take the responsibility to communicate with our politicians about their ideas. Unfortunately, the government's so big, and the communication is so scarce (hence, why the government loses so much of our tax dollars every year) that I'm not sure that's going to be possible anymore.
I'm afraid the only thing left to do, if communication is not an option anymore, is to let it crash and burn. _________________
