I'm a bit worried if McCain gets in. If Hillary gets in...well I won't be happy but I won't have to worry about the constitution getting destroyed and replaced with a bible. As for Obama....I hope he wins. He seems like a politician who actually wants to help people.
And Kim....mind going a little.....less on the USA hate? You can still say your mind but a nicer word selection would be appreciated.
He doesn't necessarily have to tone it down, unless it's making you uncomfortable, VRap. I'm actually RELIEVED that he feels comfortable enough to say these things on here. I don't know about anyone else, but I'm sick of people walking on eggshells around the subject of politics. They don't want to offend anyone and keep their opinions to themselves, but if we don't share our feelings, that's where all our confusion and problems come from anyway. It's a never-ending spiral, and it will keep getting worse until some of us have the courage to stand up and say "this isn't right, and it needs to stop".

But the question is "just how many do believe it"?
Not many people I know personally believe it, but there are some crazy people out there who do, I'm sure. Otherwise, why would the people propogating it still have their jobs? It's all a convenience thing, I think. People are living sedentary lifestyles in the physical world, and so they believe their thoughts should be sedentary as well. If they don't have to think about it, they're content, and the answers given to them by the media make it so they're content.
Simple enough, right?
I'm sure you guys can agree with me when I say I'm sick of people not thinking, but I'm also sick of people not LISTENING. People don't want to learn from each other and their different opinions. People don't want to change their minds and evolve their thought processes. People just want to sit on their asses and say that they believe one thing and it's never going to change. That way, they don't have to waste any energy talking and getting people to listen. _________________

Don't get me wrong, if it IS making you uncomfortable, we can try to tone it down. It's just kind of difficult to when nearly everything we're being told by our governmental officials and media is a less-than-accurate account. I was just under the impression that since Kim wasn't telling us all that we're wrong and to go to hell, his opinion isn't a bad thing to have on this forum.
I find it a little offensive, I'm not against him having an opinion, but when it's run into the ground over and over and over about anti-USA this and anti-USA that, it just gets overdone. But, I don't have to read these posts either, I can just stay out of it.
In all fairness, it's the same in every country, really. The US has problems, Canada has problems, the UK has problems, Korea has problems, etc... etc... Everywhere there is a government, there are problems, because "power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely." _________________ It's just four more miles. Everybody smile!

Understandable, and while I respect your point of view, Kim, I also want to hear jade's from time to time (as I'm sure you do as well). In that case, I'm sure we can find better ways to insult the USA, lol! _________________
I try to listen and I really do. It's just that the US government is...well...more "vocal" about criticizing others (instead of themselves) and I am certainly sick of it.
Bleh...
Bed Bath and Beyond! XD F*** yeah...??
LOL, that song is hilarious! I appriecate a good satire every once in a while.
