Actually, from what I've read about Asian races, a good majority of them don't tend to grow a lot of facial hair, if any. And their pores are generally smaller, so you're not going to get a lot of incredibly visible hair on face, arms, or legs, like you might expect in Caucasian populations, so Takahashi's take on things might be closer to home than you think.
Besides, you're forgetting a perfectly delectable tidbit of information.... They're cartoon characters. Of course they're not going to have hair in places considered undesirable, for they are objects of fantasy. _________________
WAHAHAHAHAHA~! XD As an Asian myself, I can definitely tell you that is true to an extent. But ONLY to a limited extent. Asians still grown body hair at times.
But yeah, I'd prefer to be my old Asian self than some racially "surperior" white guy with back hair and sh!7. Eeeww, no thank you. >.<
Besides, some of my friends have already grown a lot of hair and I am left thinking, "WTF?! Go shave, plz!!!" lol _________________

You silly boy, I'm not saying that Asian populations DON'T have hair. I said it was finer and less visible.
Personally, I don't care either way. People obsess way too much over hair in the first place. _________________
