Kohaku rocks my socks lately. He's the most courageous character in the series so far, and I'll actually be sad if he doesn't live in the end.

yeah...you know the anime stereotypes. Only females die. No matter how bad the situation seems for the guy, she'll save him but oh will will always fail saving her that one time. It happens in every manga sadly.
